Stroker ƒ/1.3 Raman Spectrometer “Maximum Throughput in a Small Block”
The Stroker ƒ/1.3 Raman Spectrometer Series delivers the highest throughput of any miniature spectrometer on the market. The design starts with a high efficiency HD Volume Phase Holographic Grating providing maximum diffraction efficiency and extreme low stray light. At this f/#, a custom lens design with the right AR coatings is demanded providing superior image quality and high transmission. A back-thinned silicon array is used with low noise electronics to bring the system together. The final step was to use a high NA fiber power converter that effectively couples all of the sampled light at the laser spot into the slit. With this kind of signal improvement, there was no need to TE cool the detector. Integration times are very short and low power lasers can be used to acquire high SNR Raman spectra.
